MANCHESTER GAMES 2012 is in a matter of days, peeps! We hope you're just as excited as we are. As the committee, we've been working extremely hard and putting in a lot of effort to ensure an amazing day for all of you. So we hope that no matter where you're coming from, be it as far as Cardiff or as nearby as Liverpool, may you have a fantastic day this Saturday! MANCHESTER GAMES 2012 REGISTRATION CLOSED!

Hiya guys. Just letting you know that registration for Manchester Games 2012 is now...

 CLOSED! 

We thank you for the overwhelming response and the encouraging support. It really is shaping up to be a fab Saturday this week. And we're so glad that YOU will be a part of it.

A few details that all participants ought to know is:

1) Registration begins at 7:30AM in Sugden Sports Centre

2) There will be a shuttle bus that transports all participants between the many locations

3) Most games start at 9:00AM so please ensure that you are registered and present before that

4) If participants are late, they will be disqualified UNLESS they contact our Sports Officer, Ashley Pan at 07729800084 at least the DAY BEFORE.

MGAMES 2012 DEADLINE EXTENDED!

Hiya guys! The deadline to register for MGames 2012 was supposed to be tonight. But we've extended it to 28 FEBRUARY 2012 for your benefit! You can register at this website itself.

An important rule that we want to bring to your attention is: 
"You are allowed to join more than TWO (2) sports if they're in the same venue."
i) Sugden - Badminton, basketball & squash
ii) Powerleague - Football, telematch, table tennis, scrabble, chess, batu seremban & congkak
iii) Trinity - Volleyball & netball

So now you can kill two birds with one stone - sort of. Haha. Anyhoo, now that you've got more time, make sure you sign up for your place in MGames 2012! Imma see you there.

MANCHESTER GAMES 2012

           

The latest thing that the MSSM committee is working on is… Manchester Games 2012! Yup, it’s one of our two flagship events. And it’s finally on its way. I can feel excitement all around. Haha. Anyway, for the uninitiated, MGames 2012 is basically a day to celebrate sports through the gathering of fellow Malaysians all across the UK in one city: Manchester. We’ve got plenty of different sports to cater to the liking of the many participants we’ll be expecting. It’s all happening on 3 MARCH 2012.

Besides that, we’ve got a special event never before held at any single MGames before, and that is the TELEMATCH! What is it? If I tell you, it wouldn’t be special anymore, now would it. So you’ll have to come to find out. Hehe. And what is a Malaysian-run event without the ubiquitous Food Fair. Rest assured, MSSM has got that covered. The food fair is bound to please the palate and be easy on the pocket. Haha.

FOOD FESTIVAL

After your games, when you’re feeling tired and hungry, come to the food fair where there is lots of food and drinks to be consumed and prizes to be won! There will be 15 booths up for grabs! Registration for booths would close on the 17th of February.

Food wise, there will be many different type of cuisines like Malay, Chinese and Indian. If you’re thirsty and just want to pick up a quick drink, don’t worry, soft drinks would be sold as well!

However, this is NOT only a food fair! When you’re feeling bored and looking for something to have fun, come join us for games such as Darts, Guessing Games and Can Toss which would be held IN the Food Fair! Trust me, your efforts would NOT be wasted because there would be PRIZES to be won!

This year,we are widening the scope and opening the door to more Malaysians to 
participate and experience fun , not only for the 'sporters' but for the 'sporting' 
by introducing new sporting events. 
Our differences and uniqueness make and build us into a 
TEAM - Together Everyone Achieves More.
 Hence , for the very first time Manchester Games 2012 is going 
to have their very own telematch. 
Telematch comprises 10 players in a team competing with other teams 
in all the different and interesting games organised.

 It will bring you down memory lane to those Primary School days.

 So gather 10 and register right away!

Our new sports this year includes volleyball and table tennis.

Registration starts now! So register NOW before registration closes 
on the 21^st February 2012.
